Hey, I'm Rupam, a software engineer who likes blockchains and cryptography. I'm based out of Kolkata, India and for the most part of my life, mathematics and somewhat physics have been the things I always loved learning more about.

That was also how I got introduced to cyrptography and then blockchains as a use case unlike most other people who follow the opposite path. Gradually I went down the path of liking computer science too and even though I dont get the chance to visit mathematics a lot now, I still love solving a few problems now and then.

Standing today, I absolutely love software engineering and actively try to become one of those software engineers who are essentially jack of all trades, master of none, but often times better than a master of one.

I also really like Rust as a programming language for its safety, performance, and for its very good package manager cargo. Golang would be a close contender but since I haven't really worked with it a lot in production level systems, I can't say much about it.

Outside of this life, I love travelling and exploring new places. I am a big fan of swimming too and used to be a club champion at some point in time.
